Healthy breakfast cake and cup cakes.

When kids refuse to eat regular healthy breakfast and want to eat junk you can make this healthy breakfast cake for them. It consists of powdered oats and whole wheat atta, banana, almonds and milk to make it completely healthy.

Preparation time : 10 minutes
Baking time 25 minutes.
Serves: 4

Ingrediants Required:

  • 1 cup powdered oats
  • 1 cup whole wheat atta
  • 2 tbsp refined flour
  • 1 banana mashed
  • Half cup crushed almonds
  • Half cup warm milk
  • Half cup warm oil
  • Half cup condensed milk
  • Half cup powdered sugar
  • 50 gms butter
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1tsp baking soda
  • 1tsp vanilla essence
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2tbsp choco chips
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

Method of preparation:

Pre heat oven to 175°. Grease cake tin or loaf tin or cup cakes moulds.

Sieve together: oats, atta, flour, baking powder, baking soda , powdered sugar and cocoa powder. Seive it thrice. Add crushed almonds and choco chips, reserving few for adding on top.

  1. Whip together: Condensed milk, milk, oil, mashed banana , butter and vanilla essence.Add the dry mixture gradually and lightly mixing continuously. Add extra milk if it is very thick or atta if dilute. Immediately pour it into greased tins or cups and sprinkle remaining crushed almonds and choco chips. Bake at 175 ° for 25 minutes. Insert a dry knife and check if it is done. Cool it for 10 minutes.

To serve: Pour some maple syrup over the cake and serve immediately. If you want to cover it with butter cream icing or whipped cream then cool the cake completely for 1 to 2 hours and then cover it with butter cream or whipped cream icing.
