RECIPE FOR JHATPAT MATAR CHAAT

 

Preparation Time:20 mins
Cooking Time:5 mins
Serve: 4

Ingredients Required:-

  • 250 gms white peas
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 onions
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 bowl garlic farshaan
  • Green coriander
  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds
  • 3 green chillies
  • 1 pinch hing
  • Tamarind chutney
  • Tomato sauce  (optional)
  • 1 lime

Method:-

1. Soak peas for 5 to 6 hrs.

2. Boil peas with little salt for 3 to 4 whistles

3. In a pan take oil put cumin seeds,hing,green chillies and put the peas and stir u can add red chilli powder if you want.

4. Now mash the peas slightly

5. Now take peas in a plate put chopped onions,cucumber and tomatoes on it, than put some farshaan and red chutney on it, with little lime juice and coriander on it your yummy peas chaat is ready.

This chaat can be enjoyed by everyone who is health consious.
