CHILLI PANEER

Ingrediants Required:

  • 200 gram paneer cubes
  • 3/4 cup onion cubes
  • 1 cup capsicum diced
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tsp garlic fine chopped
  • 2 tsp ginger fine chopped
  • 4-5 green chilli slited
  • salt as per taste
  • ajinomoto pinch (optional)
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp red chilli sauce
  • 1 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 2 tsp soya sauce
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp cornflour
  • 1/4 tsp soya sauce
  • water to make batter
  • oil for deep frying

Method:

1.Mix maida, cornflour, salt and 1/4 tsp soya sauce together in a bowl.
2.Add water and make a semi thick batter.
3.Heat oil in a kadhai, dip paneer cubes in the batter and deep fry in hot oil.
4.Heat oil in a pan, add ginger, garlic and green chili. saute for few seconds on high flame.
5.Add onion, capsicum and ajinomoto, saute on high flame until partially cooked.
6.Add sauces, vinegar and 1-2 tbsp of water to the pan
add fried paneer cubes and saute for 2 minutes.
7.Serve paneer chilli hot as a starter.
