RECIPE FOR PITLA

Preparation Time – 5 mins
Cooking Time – 15 mins
Serve – 2

Ingredients Required:-

  • 1 cup besan
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 1 1/2 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1 piece ginger
  • 5 to 6 pods garlic
  • 1 tsp haldi
  • Few curry leaves
  • Green coriander
  • 1 tsp jeera
  • Pinch of hing
  • 1 tsp rai
  • Salt to taste

Method:-

1. Grind green chillies,ginger and garlic coursely.

2. Now in a mixing bowl take besan and put water and mix it well without any lumps.

3. Take a kadhai put oil,jeera,rai and curry leaves when jeera and rai crackles put the grinded masala and fry.

4. Now add chopped onions and fry till the onions are transulent then put the haldi,salt and besan mixer.

5. Stir well for minutes without any lumps and cover it in a slow gas for 4 to 5 minutes.

6. Now open the lid and if necessary put little water to make the consistency if needed if it is too thick mix it well.

7. Garnish with curry leaves and coriander

8. Enjoy this yummy pitla with bhakri or roti.
