Naylon Khaman …..special for u all…..as today the celebration of “Gujarati Diwas” and I m from gujrat …..as Gujju’s…😍😍
Besan or gram flour 1 big bowl
Water 1 bowl or needed
Salt as your taste
Sugar 2 tbs
Nimbu ke phul /citric acid 1/2 tsp
Oil 1 tbs for applying plate
Eno 1 packe
For Garnish :-
Some pomegranate pearls for garnish
Tomato rose flower
For tadka :-
Oil 2 tbs
Rai 1 tsp
Sesame seeds 1 tsp
Hing 1/4 tsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Chopped chilli 4 to 5
Chopped coriander leaves 2 tbs
Curry patta 10 to 12
Red chilli powder 1/4 tsp for sprinkle
Butter milk 2 cup
Take a bowl add salt sugar citric acid and water the mix it properly.
Now add gram flour and make a batter.
Make sure batter should not be watery…
Make it as like as dhokla batter.
Now take a dhokla cooker for steam the khaman.
Now take a large plate apply little oil and keep aside.
When water starte to boiling keep plate into it.
Now add eno in khaman batter and mix it fast.
When it fully rised pour this batter in plate .
Now lid the dhokla steamer and cook till it done or 20 to 25 minute.
After given time your khaman is ready for tadka.
Give cut to your khaman as your choice .
For tadka.. take a kadai add oil and keep on flame for simmer.
When oil is done add rai and hing into it.
When rai start to crackle add green chilli Curry patta and sesame seeds in it.
Now add butter milk and sugar in it…if you need some extra salt you can add in this stage.
Now keep on flame for 3 to 4 minute.
Now remove from the flame and pour it little by little on khaman.
Sprinkle some red chilli powder on khaman.
Now keep this khaman for 10 minute or khanna soak the all water and fluffy.
Now sprinkle some coriander leaves and serve .
Your Naylon Khaman is ready to serve .
Served in a leaf with some of tomato roses and Green chilli with pomegranate pearls…..
