Preparation  Time :1 hour
Soaking Time:6 hours
Serve- 5
Ingredients Required:

  • 2 cup boil white peas
  • 2 medium size onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1tbs garlic & Ginger paste
  • 2 tbs oil
  • 2 tomatoes chopped
  • 2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tbs kokum powder (black kokum, Garcinia indica)
  • 1 tbs Chaat Masala
  • 2 tbs green chillies chopped
  • 1 tsp black salt
  • Salt to taste

For garnish-

  • 2 tbs onions chopped
  • 2 tbs green chatni
  • 2 tbs red chatni
  • 2 tbs tamarind chatni
  • Sev( fry thin chickpea noodles)
  • Coriander leaves chopped
  • 25 Puri, /golgappa
  • 1 cup boil potato pieces

Method:
1.Soaked white peas in water 5 to 6 hours or overnight.
2.Wash and drain the peas.
3.In a pressure cooker add 2 glass of water.
4.When water is boiling ,add peas.
5.Add salt to taste
6.Add turmeric powder
7.Closed the lid and put the whistle on.
8.After 2 whistles turn off the flame.
9.After cool open the cooker lid and check peas cook properly ,if not than 10.Cover again and cook more 2 whistles.
11.Heat oil in a pan add jeera and onions.
12.Fry few seconds, add Ginger and garlic paste.
13.Add tomatoes and all spices.
14.Mix well all spices.
15.Add boil white peas mix easily.
16.Boil 1 minutes .
17.When ragda bubbling turn off the flame.
18.Cool down 5 minutes.
19.Fill each Puri with potato pieces and white peas gravy.
20.Sprinkle some chopped onions.
21.Generously add the all chatnis.
22.Sprinkle coriander leaves and sev.


23.Serve immediately.
