WHOLE WHEAT NACHOS

Ingredients Required:-

  • whole wheat flour 1 big bowl
  • hot oil 5 big tbsp
  • turmeric powder 1 tbsp
  • red chilli powder 1 1/2 tbsp
  • cumin seeds 2 tbsp
  • salt as per taste
  • ginger-garlic paste as per taste
  • crushed green chillies as per taste
  • black pepper powder 1 tbsp

Spices to sprinkle when nachos are ready:-

  • red chilli powder
  • rock salt(sendha namak)
  • chaat masala

Method:

1.Take a pressure cooker and remove its whistle. Fill it 1/4 with water. Take whole wheat flour in vessel and keep it in pressure cooker. let the flour steam for 10 minutes.

2.After 10 minutes, take out the flour from the pressure cooker and cool it.

3.After the flour cools down, grind the flour in a mixi jar until smooth in texture.

4.Then take out the flour in a large vessel and add the above listed ingredients and form a semi stiff dough by adding water little by little.

5.Then roll semi thin chapati out of the dough and cut it horizontally into big strips.Prick the stripes with fork.

6.Then by using a pizza cutter, cut the strips into triangular pieces to form nachos.

7.Then take oil in a pan. The oil should be medium hot. Fry until golden in colour.

8.Mix well red chilly powder,rock salt and chaat masala. Sprinkle this masala on the nachos after they get fried.

Whole wheat nachos are ready to serve!!
