MANGO RABRI MALPUA

Basically Malpuas are made in ghee but this recipe is tried on non stick pan with less ghee

Preparation Time:15 mins
Setting Time:6-7 hours
Cooking Time:5-10 mins
Serve:3

Ingredients Required:

  • 2 cups maida
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 mango puree
  • saffron few strands
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup dried fruits
  • ghee  for  frying( as per required)
  • 1/2 cup rabri or khoya
  • 1 tsp elaichi powder

 

Method:

1.Make batter with milk and maida the batter should not be very thick then add sugar add saffron strands and elaichi powder cover it and  keep aside for 6-7 hours
2.Take one mango puree add in the maida and milk batter, add dried fruits of your choice
3.Add rabri or khoya
4.Take a non stick pan heat it then  add little ghee add one tbsp batter into the pan sprinkle little dried fruits on top add little ghee and turn on the other  side, it should be on low flame else the malpuas will be left uncooked
5.Cook nicely on both sides
6.your delicious malpus are ready to serve…
