RECIPE FOR URAD DAAL KHICHDI AND TIL LADOOS
Preparation Time:5 mins
Cooking Time:30 mins
- Rice 1 cup
- Urad daal with skin 1/4 cup
- Pure ghee 3 tbsp
- Salt as per taste
- Lime juice
- Cumin seeds 2 tbsp
- Hing 1/4 tsp
1. Soak rice and daal for 15 mins then in a pan put 5 to 6 cups of water and let it boil.
2. After boiling put daal and rice in it with salt, and hing let it cook.
3. When khichdi is cooked take tadka pan put ghee and cumin seeds when cumin seeds started to crackle put it in the khichdi.
RECIPE FOR BOONDI RAITA
soak boondi in little water then put it in curd put salt,roasted cumin powder,red chilli powder.
RECIPE FOR TIL LADOOS
Cooking Time :10 mins
- 1 1/2 cup sesame seeds
- 1 1/2 cup jaggery
- 1 tbsp ghee
- 1/4 cup roasted crushed peanuts
- 1/2 tsp cardomom powder
1. Dry roast sesame seeds in a pan on a slow flame.
2. Heat the ghee in a pan,add jaggery,mix well and cook in a slow flame
3.Add the sesame seeds,peanuts and cardomom powder mix well and cook for 1 min,transfer the mixture into a plate and allow it cool slightly
4. Wet your palms with little water take a small portion of the mixture and shape into a round ball
