Patleo / Ela Ada
This is traditional Goan / Kerala recipe but I twisted it little ..
In my version I hv added Gulkand in coconut stuffing
I hv used Jackfruit leaves instead of turmeric or banana leaves
I hv made it easier by using rice flour available in shops

Preparation Time: 15 min
Cooking Time: 7-8 min
Serve: 3-4
Cuisine : Goan / South Indian

Ingredients Required:
Grated fresh coconut – 1 bowl
Jagree – 1 bowl
Rice flour -1 bowl
Almonds and raisins – 1spoon
Cardamom powder- half spoon
Gulkand – 1 spoon
Ghee – half spoon
Salt a pinch
Jackfruit leaves – For steaming

Method:
1.Add ghee in pan , roast almonds and raisins , keep aside
2. Add jagree , after melting it add grated coconut cook it till it starts leaving sides switch off the gas
3. Add cardamom powder , Gulkand, almonds and raisins , mix well and keep it for cooling
4.In another pot take rice flour , add salt and little water to make thick paste
5. Wash and clean Jackfruit leaves ,Make cones of it and pin it with toothpick
6.Apply thin layer of rice flour paste to come from inside add coconut mixture and close it with rice flour paste
7. Keep it in steamer for 7-8 mins
8 . Serve hot.
