Ingredients Required:-

  • 1 1/2 cup besan
  • 2 cups sour curd
  • 2 onions
  • 6,7 garlic pods
  • 1 piece ginger
  • 2,3 green chillies
  • 1 tsp dhaniya powder
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp haldi powder
  • 1 tsp methi seeds
  • 2 tsp jeera
  • 1 tsp rai
  • 1 cup oil for frying pakoras
  • 1 tbsp oil for kadhi
  • 1 pinch hing
  • 1 tbsp pure ghee
  • Less than 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • Curry leaves
  • Few coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste


1.Make paste of garlic,ginger and green chillies.

2.Take besan in a bowl add thinly sliced onions,salt,baking soda,turmeric powder,1,2 green chillies mix and make pakoras of it.

3.Take a pan put 1 tbsp oil heat it put hing,methi seeds,rai,jeera,curry leaves and then grinded masala fry them add haldi,red chillies and dhaniya.

4.Now take the curd add 1,2 litrs of water and 1/2 cup of besan mix it very well now put this mixture into the kadhai now stir continuously till it starts boiling put the salt after it boils.

5.Cover it for 6,7 mins in slow flame then put the pakoras and cover the lid.switch off gas.

6.Take ghee and jeera and make a tadka over it garnish with green coriander.

Serve hot with steamed rice.
