Ingredients Required:

  • Lauki (Bottle gourd) -1 cup grated
  • Paneer – 1/4 cup grated
  • Ginger garlic and chillies paste – 1 spoon
  • Besan -2 spoons
  • Turmeric powder – 1/4 spoon
  • Salt for taste
  • Oil for deep frying

For Gravy:

  • Tomatoes – 2 medium
  • Onions -2 finely chopped
  • Cashew nuts – 2 spoons ( soaked for 30 min)
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1/2 spoon
  • Coriander and cumin powder -1 spoon
  • Red chilli powder -1 spoon
  • Garam masala powder – 1/2 spoon
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 spoon
  • Curd – 1/4 cup
  • Oil – 1 1/2 spoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves to Garnish

Method:
1. Peel and Grate bottle gourd and squeeze excess water from it ( don’t throw it u you can use it in gravy)
2. Grate paneer into it
3. Add ginger garlic and chilli paste, besan turmeric powder and salt
4. Mix all, make small balls and Deep fry them

Method for Gravy

1. Make tomatoes and soaked cashew puree
2. Heat oil in pan and add onions , saute them nicely.
3. Add Ginger garlic paste in it n saute till raw smell vanishes
4. Add tomatoes and cashew puree stir fry it and add red chilli powder, garam masala , cumin n coriander powder and turmeric powder
5.Whip curd and add into it , then add water ( you can add Lauki water here)
6. Add fried kofta balls into it cook for 5 min Garnish with coriander and serve hot .
