VANILLA TUTTI FRUTTI EGGLESS CAKE

Super soft from inside and crusty from outside….
For all jhatpat members..
A tea time snacks.
Very simple n very easy..n very spongy …n crusty too
This recipe is for beginners

Ingredients Required:

  1. All purpose flour or maida=1cup
  2. Powdered Sugar= ¾ cup
  3. Baking powder=1/2 tsp
  4. Baking soda or meetha soda = 1/4 tsp
  5. Salt= ¼ tsp
  6. Oil= ½ cup
  7. Milk= ½ cup
  8. Vanilla essence 1/2 tsp
  9. Curd 3 tbsp
  10. Vinegar 1 tsp

Tutti frutti…handful( dust with maida so that it doesn’t stick) n then mix

Method:

1.Preheat the cooker with a cup of salt n a small stand.. Grease cake tin or any steel container with oil or butter and dust lightly with flour. Keep aside

2.Sieve all the dry ingredients (flour , baking powder ,baking soda and salt )2 to 3 times and keep it aside.
3.In a bowl mix oil and sugar and mix well using hand beater. Now add curd and mix .Add milk and vanilla essence.
4.Now add vinegar and keep aside . Add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix the batter to a smooth paste by cut and fold method.
5.Pour the batter to the cake tin n then add tutti frutti and bake it for 45- 50 mins or till done on medium .

6.Remove the lid n ..check with a knife or toothpick if it comes out clean it’s done..
7.If not bake for another 5-10 mins..don’t overcook else it will burn
Or bake it in pre heated oven at 180° c for 35-40 check in between to avoid burning or until done.

*Tips..if the batter is thin add maida and if it is thick add milk..
