Ingredients Required:-

  • 250 gms baby potato
  • 2 onions
  • 7,8 garlic
  • 1 big piece ginger
  • 2 to 3 cloves
  • 5 to 6 cashews
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 3 kashmiri red chilli ( whole )
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp garam Masala
  • 1 tsp kasuri methi
  • 3/4 cup fresh tomato pulp
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil.

Method:-

1.Boil the potatoes
2.Peel and shallow fry the potatoes till light brown.
3.Grind all the masalas
4.Put oil in a pan little jeera, cinnamon, bay leave and then chopped onions after that add grinded masala and tomato pulp when oil separates add water for curry after it boils add salt, potatoes, garam Masala and kasuri methi.

Dum aloo is ready

Garnish with green coriander leaves.
