RECIPE FOR DAAL DALIYA

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time :10 minutes
Serve: 4

Ingredients Required:

  • Ghee 4 tbsp
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Maggie masala 1 pack
  • Onion sliced 1
  • Carrot 1(Chopped)
  • Peas 2tbsp
  • Blackpepper powder 2 tsp
  • Capcicum 1(Chopped)
  • Salt to taste
  • Broken wheat 1/2cup(daliya)
  • Husked green gram 1/4 cup
  • Lemon juice 1tbsp
  • Water 3 cups

Method:

1.Pre-heat a cooker.
2.Add half ghee, cumin and sliced onion.
3.Cook till golden brown.
4.Add all Chopped vegies.
5.Add all spices and cook for a minute.
6.Add washed broken wheat and husked green gram.
7.Now add water,salt and lemon juice.
8.Take 2 whistles.
9.Open the lid and add more ghee and serve hot.
